The Dallas Cowboys enter Wee 2 of the 2020 NFL season desperate for a win. The playoff chances for a team in the NFL dim greatly if they start the season 0-2. That’s not where the Cowboys want to be, especially since they have a date in Seattle next week.
Dallas is coming off a disappointing loss to the Los Angeles Rams in Week 1 of the season, 20-17. Neither side of the ball, offense or defense, played particularity well in that game. For the defense, that was not unexpected. They have a new coordinator and new scheme, but the offense being held to 17 points was certainly unexpected.
They’ll need to put more points on the board this week because the Falcons have the weapons to score. Atlanta is a one-sided team with a powerful offense but a porous defense. The Cowboys will need to let loose on offense while doing their best to minimize the damage from the Falcons arsenal of weapons. Expect a high-scoring thriller.
