The Dallas Cowboys are coming off of one of their more memorable wins in some time. America’s Team got their first victory of the season in thrilling fashion over the Atlanta Falcons. Frankly speaking, the Cowboys won a game that they should have lost.
Fortunately all wins count the same, but it certainly has a lot of people questioning the legitimacy of this year’s potential and they still need to be shown something to properly buy in to the hype that surrounded the group before the season began. This week presents an excellent opportunity for the Cowboys to announce themselves to the world as they will travel to take on the Seattle Seahawks.
Dak Prescott, Ezekiel Elliott, Amari Cooper, CeeDee Lamb, and most of the current Cowboys players weren’t around when the team shocked everyone with a win in the Pacific Northwest in 2014. This game certainly has that potential, although it obviously won’t feature the vaunted 12th man that the Seahawks are so proud of.
What will undoubtedly be challenging for Dallas is the play of Seattle quarterback Russell Wilson. He has been firing on all cylinders throughout the season’s first two weeks and is unquestionably the player that the Cowboys will try to contain on Sunday afternoon.
