The Cowboys are a banged up group for this early in the season, and they are coming in bunches at specific position groups. Offensive tackle, linebacker, the secondary.
Chidobe Awuzie will be out for a few weeks at corner, and Trevon Diggs was on yesterday’s injury report and did not practice. Fortunately for the Cowboys, Diggs was able to go through a practice today.
Trevon Diggs upgraded to full participation today. Looks like he’s ok.

Awuzie’s injury is bad enough that it sounds like they will put him on IR according to Stephen Jones. But with Diggs, Jourdan Lewis, Daryl Worley and Brandon Carr, the Cowboys might be able to cobble together a decent secondary for Sunday.
DeMarcus Lawrence returned from a personal day but a knee injury kept him out of practice on Thursday. Earlier in the day they were hoping he would be able to participate in individual drills today, but that was not so.
Tyron Smith is still sitting out of practice and rehabbing on the side. As was mentioned early in the week, he could be a game-time decision. Stephen Jones is still optimistic about his return this week.
