The first month of the season is over for the Dallas Cowboys and they have a 1-2 record to show for it. Offensively the team seems to be somewhat living up to the hype surrounding them entering the season, but the other side of the ball is in serious question.
Dallas has surrendered 77 points over their last two games, the most allowed by the team in any two-game stretch. They won’t be taking on Russell Wilson again this week, but they will be hosting a talented group in the Cleveland Browns that has Baker Mayfield, Nick Chubb, Kareem Hunt, Odell Beckham Jr., and Jarvis Landry.
Of course the Cowboys have an offense themselves. Dak Prescott will be tasked yet again with leading his group, a nice crew of their own in Ezekiel Elliott, Amari Cooper, Michael Gallup, and CeeDee Lamb.
It remains to be seen whether or not Tyron Smith will be playing in this game for Dallas. Cleveland also has one of the better pass rushers in the NFL in Myles Garrett, and it will be Garrett’s first professional game against the Cowboys since publicly asking the team to try and draft him in the 2017 NFL Draft when he was selected number one overall.
