Dallas Cowboys unofficial depth chart lists rookie cornerback Trevon Diggs as a starter for Week 1

The Dallas Cowboys will face the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday, and we are all very anxious to see what this team looks like in their first game with Mike McCarthy as their head coach. We think that we know a lot about this version of the Cowboys but obviously playing a game will either validate, or destroy, the ideas that we have had.

Mike McCarthy has been meticulous about hiding as much information that he can regarding the Cowboys, but as the week is playing out a somewhat normal amount of info is starting to trickle out. We now have an unofficial depth chart to look over.

The Cowboys have released their unofficial depth chart for Week 1

On the Tuesday before their Week 1 matchup on the road against the Los Angeles Rams the Dallas Cowboys released an unofficial depth chart. A reminder here that this is unofficial.

As you can see the Cowboys have Cam Erving in place of La’el Collins at right tackle which suggests he will be the one to make the start. They also have rookie Trevon Diggs starting at cornerback over Chidobe Awuzie which is noteworthy.

Outside of this there are no real surprises, but it should be mentioned that Cedrick Wilson and Tony Pollard are listed to return kicks and punts, respectively. It remains to be seen if CeeDee Lamb will get the nod there.

Also... how about that SLB? Will Aldon Smith really line up at linebacker?
