The Dallas Cowboys returned to practice today in preparation for their road game with the New England Patriots in Week 6 on Sunday afternoon. The Cowboys reportedly came out of the New York Giants game with no new significant injuries, but things can always change.
It was reported earlier today that cornerback Kelvin Joseph and tight end Sean McKeon have been designated for rerun from injured reserve, so they could be joining the team over the next few weeks.
We have the first injury report of the week for the game.
Trevon Diggs was held out of practice with an ankle injury, that is certainly something to monitor as the week progresses. Safety Damontae Kazee also sat out with a hip injury while Dorance Armstrong continues to miss practice.
Safety Donovan Wilson was a limited participant in today’s practice, the first time he’s been on the field in weeks. Ezekiel Elliott and Randy Gregory were also limited. Zeke said his back/rib injury from falling on the pylon is starting to loosen up and feel better.
No practice for Trevon Diggs or Damontae Kazee today, though Donovan Wilson did in fact upgrade to a limited participant. pic.twitter.com/xrMsVRtVpM
