It’s Thursday of game week and the time when you like to see the injury report trending in the right direction. That isn’t happening yet for the Dallas Cowboys as they prepare to take on the New England Patriots on the road on Sunday,
Yesterday we learned that Trevon Diggs is battling an ankle injury and he sat out practice. He was a non-participant again today. Tomorrow you would like to see him get some action in if he is going to be good to go. Diggs’ situation isn’t of high concern according to head coach Mike McCarthy.

Starting safety Damontae Kazee also missed his second day of practice with a hip injury. That’s two important pieces of the secondary that haven't practiced this week, but Kazee expects to play.

Dorance Armstrong is still not ready to go and will likely be out another week.
Left tackle Tyron Smith popped up on the injury report today with a neck issues. He was limited, but anytime you start to hear about a neck problem with Smith it’s a little worrisome. He has been plagued by neck and back issues for the last five years or so. Surgery was supposed to have fixed it, so this is a bit concerning.
Safety Donovan Wilson continues his return to practice with another limited day of action. Ezekiel Elliott and Randy Gregory were both still limited.
