The Dallas Cowboys were big favorites against the Denver Broncos, at one point as much as 10-point favorites according to our friends at DraftKings Sportsbook. Unfortunately, no one told the Broncos that as they hammered the Cowboys into submission on Sunday, 30-16.

You might think that would hurt the Cowboys odds for their next game against the Atlanta Falcons, but that doesn’t appear to be the case. The Cowboys have opened up as nine-point favorites for their game next week courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook.

The Falcons are coming off an impressive showing as they managed a late field goal to beat the Saints, 27-25. The Falcons are now 4-4 and trying to get into the playoff race. The Cowboys will need to play a heck of a lot better than they did against the Broncos to justify these kind of odds against anybody going forward.

The Cowboys were perfect against the spread until this week, let’s see if they can get back on track against the Falcons next Sunday.
