The Super Bowl was a week ago, but more importantly for some that means that the 2021 Pro Football hall of Fame Class was revealed a week ago. Lives were changed forever with a proverbial knock of the door.
Of course there were no knocks as we have known them to be when it comes to the Hall of Fame announcements. President David Baker took a unique path to each member of this year’s class and surprised Drew Pearson at The Star with Jerry Jones and Roger Staubach.
Pearson was kind enough to join us for a conversation about his career, the immortality associated with the Hall of Fame, and how much all of this really means to him. I can’t recommend it enough. Who he is comes through so well.
If you prefer to listen to the conversation as opposed to watching it (although Pearson has a pretty sweet background) you can do so on the Blogging The Boys podcast network. A reminder that we are available on Apple devices as well as Spotify. Please make sure to subscribe, leave a rating, and write a review. Those are very much appreciated.
Cliff Harris and Jimmy Johnson were both chosen as a part of last year’s Pro Football Hall of Fame Class, but obviously the ceremony did not take place as it normally has. It remains to be seen how this is going to be handled, but with so many Cowboys going in we are going to have some fun memories to look back on in the near future.
We can’t thank Drew Pearson enough for the time. Congratulations to The Original 88!
