When Dak Prescott took to the podium to talk about the new contract that he signed with the Dallas Cowboys he said several times that he never worried about things he couldn’t control. Dak is returning this season from an awful ankle injury suffered in October of last year and the status of his health is one that many people have talked and debated about for the last few months.
Dak didn’t reveal too much about his ankle during his press conference, but he did say that he has been progressing and listening to doctors all while rehabbing. On Thursday morning, the mothership released a hype video of sorts (those have been an interesting subject this offseason) that showed Dak working and specifically focused in on his ankle. All seems rather well.

This video isn’t a fully revealing shot of Dak’s current health, but seeing him move around certainly inspires optimism that all is on the right path. By all measurements he seems to be well on pace towards returning to full form.
Time will tell what this offseason is going to look like when it comes to OTAs and minicamps in respect to the pandemic. Dak did end his press conference on Wednesday by saying “See you in Oxnard!” so perhaps that is the next time that we will truly get to see him in any sort of football action.
For now at least we have this.
