On Wednesday we found out that we are three weeks away from an important offseason NFL milestone. In most prior offseasons the National Football League has released the schedule for the upcoming season ahead of the NFL Draft. Last year, the league ultimately released it after the draft, but the world was very new at handling the pandemic and they obviously were adjusting to a lot of different things within league circles.

This year will be the same, though, as we will not know exactly when each game will be played when the Dallas Cowboys pick at number 10 overall, but we now do know when we will know the time and dates of those games.

The National Football League is officially going to release its schedule on May 12th which is roughly three weeks from today. A refresher on the Cowboys’ opponents for 2021 in case you forgot.

The NFL officially approved a 17th game beginning this season and the opponent for the Cowboys that was added is the New England Patriots, a ninth road game. Dallas will also have to travel to places like Tampa Bay, New Orleans, Kansas City, and to face the Los Angeles Chargers. Needless to say it is going to be quite the tall task of a season.

Who do you think the season opener will be against?
