The Dallas Cowboys are among the many NFL teams holding their rookie minicamp this weekend and we will finally get to see the new players in their team gear and doing football-related activities. Rookie minicamp is literally the first taste of professional football for these players and obviously the first step in what they all hope are prosperous careers. The team’s draft picks and undrafted free agents will be involved as will some tryout players and the like.
The Dallas Morning News’ Michael Gehlken shared a photo of the roster for rookie minicamp and the 31 players are now official.

As mentioned the team’s current rookies will be there as will some players with exceptions that allow them to be involved, Ohio State quarterback JT Barrett is a notable name in that capacity.
We are officially one step closer to football season. Here’s to hoping the rest of them fly by.
