Back in May of this year, we got a look at the Dallas Cowboys official 2021 NFL regular-season schedule. This year there was a change to the traditional format as the NFL has now gone to a 17-game schedule, one more than they had previously played for so long. Around that same time, the approximate preseason schedule came out.
That has also been altered as the NFL cut down to three preseason games instead of four, a concession to the 17-game schedule. But the Cowboys, and the Pittsburgh Steelers, will get an additional preseason game because they start things off with the Hall of Fame game.
Today, the NFL released the official preseason schedule with times and dates, and in the case of some games, the TV schedule. Here is the Cowboys 2021 preseason schedule.
Thursday, August 5th, 8:00 PM ET: Dallas vs. Pittsburgh on FOX
Friday, August 13th, 10:00 PM ET: Dallas @ Arizona
Saturday, August 21st, 8:00 PM ET: Dallas vs. Houston
Sunday August 29th, 1:00 PM ET: Dallas vs. Jacksonville
Only their first game is on national TV, the rest will be on local channels.
