The Dallas Cowboys wrapped up their preseason on Sunday afternoon against the Jacksonville Jaguars, and while they did not win a single exhibition contest, the most important victory is that they did not sustain any major injuries.
This is not to say that the Cowboys escaped the preseason completely free of harm. There were a few players who experienced injuries along the way that hopefully will not keep them out long (Neville Gallimore as the biggest example), and on Sunday rookie cornerback Kelvin Joseph left the game with a groin injury.
Joseph was downgraded from questionable to out during the game which had people concerned. After the contest was over he took to Twitter to say that the issue was “minor” and that he will be back better.
Minor will be back and better

It is unknown exactly when Kelvin will be back obviously. To be clear his tweet could mean that he is not going to miss any time at all or that he will miss a tiny bit of time. All he notes is that he will be back better when he ultimately returns.
The Cowboys are going to have to get down to 53 players on their roster by Tuesday and will likely stash some players on injured reserve for the season’s beginning. It doesn’t seem like Kelvin is at that point or anything, but it will be a tricky thing to navigate all the way around.
