Dallas Cowboys at Los Angeles Chargers inactives: No surprises as Dallas gets ready for Week 2

The Cowboys will be without a few key defenders against the Chargers.

We have had to wait a very long time to see the Dallas Cowboys again as they last suited up for a Week 1 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last Thursday night. Since then we have found out that three starters on the team are slated to miss different amounts of time for different reasons. Michael Gallup has a calf strain and is out 3-5 weeks, La’el Collins is beginning the first of a five-game suspension, and DeMarcus Lawrence will be out for an estimated 6-8 weeks with a broken foot.

What’s more is that the Cowboys are currently looking at a defense that will also be without Randy Gregory and Donovan Wilson as the former is on the Reserve/COVID-19 list while the latter is dealing with a groin injury. Altogether they will have five starters from their Week 1 game out which means that the inactive list isn’t exactly a surprise.

The Chargers are also a beat up as this game gets set to begin. They are the 1-0 team here so they are the favorites by many, but Los Angeles is hardly at full force.

Almost time for kickoff.
