The Cowboys get their first swing at an NFC East win on Monday night when they take on the Eagles. Injuries are always an issue, and COVID is too in this new era. The Cowboys have a few more injuries this week that will keep a couple of players out on Monday. The defensive line takes a double hit as both Dorance Armstrong (high ankle sprain) and Carlos Watkins (knee) have been ruled out of the game by head coach Mike McCarthy. Additionally, Keanu Neal is on the COVID list, but has a shot at returning. The Cowboys defense has been hit hard, especially the defensive line.
The good news is that Randy Gregory is back from the COVID list and should go. Wide receiver Amari Cooper practiced today in a limited fashion, so he should be able to play with his bruised ribs. The news wasn’t as good for Donovan Wilson who was held out of practice again. Reserve offensive tackle Ty Nsekhe has been ruled out after having to go to the hospital last week with illness.
No surprises on Cowboys' injury report. WR Amari Cooper (rib) limited in practice. Four didn't practice: S Donovan Wilson (groin), DE Dorance Armstrong (ankle), DT Carlos Watkins (knee), OT Ty Nsekhe (illness).
