You know that NFL football is almost back when you get the first injury report of the year. The Cowboys released their injury report after today’s practice and it does have some good news.
First practice report of 2021 looks pretty encouraging.

La’el Collins listed as full, as is Donovan Wilson. Chauncey Golston also was a full participant, though it’s hard to imagine him having a role as quickly as Week 1. pic.twitter.com/J4TyOZFkS3
The fact that both La’el Collins and Donovan Wilson are full participants is excellent news for the Cowboys. Collins has been battling stingers and those can be unpredictable. For him to return to a full practice is a good sign that he can play on Thursday. Wilson has been battling a groin injury but looks like he will also be a full-go.
In fact, outside of the COVID issues, the Cowboys look relatively healthy. Tarell Basham and C.J. Goodwin are back in the flow after battling injuries. And rookie Chauncey Golston is healthy. DeMarcus Lawrence and Dak Prescott are listed but are full participants. The only negative on the report is Ty Nsekhe being limited with a foot injury.
Speaking of COVID issue, Jerry Jones and Mike McCarty haven't officially ruled out Zack Martin for the game, but it remains a real longshot.
Zack Martin would need 2 negative tests between now & when it’s time to head to Tampa, so Mike McCarthy says he’s as close to being ruled out as he could possibly be. Although he is not technically, officially ruled out.

On the bright side, no one new has entered COVID protocol
