It’s here. At long last, the NFL season has returned. All the waiting, the fretting, the wondering, everything that goes with the offseason is in the past. The real deal has arrived.
Dak Prescott returns to action for the first time since Week 5 of the 2020 season when the gruesome ankle injury took him out. He’s healthy, he’s paid, and now he gets to show what he can do. Unfortunately he won’t have Zack Martin to help protect him, and that also hurts the Cowboys' ability to run the ball with Ezekiel Elliot. But they still have the Three Amigos at wide receiver.
On defense, nobody really knows how much the Cowboys have improved, if any. Micah Parsons is the big addition along with defensive coordinator Dan Quinn. Will they be enough to turn things around on that side of the ball?
It all gets started tonight.

Every week we will be putting together a preview show for the upcoming Dallas Cowboys game on the Blogging The Boys YouTube Channel. During the preview we will discuss the biggest storylines, highlight some things to watch during our Film Room segment, and speak with somebody who covers the opposing team to get an idea on what Dallas is up against (although this week we had to improvise a bit on that front).
