BREAKING: JIMMY JOHNSON IS JOINING THE DALLAS COWBOYS RING OF HONOR!

The Dallas Cowboys are set to visit the Carolina Panthers on Sunday afternoon, but it is going to be very difficult for any longtime fans of the team to focus on that right now.

With a little over an hour to go until kickoff Cowboys owner, president and general manager Jerry Jones announced a surprise press conference after being seen talking to former team head coach and Pro Football Hall of Famer Jimmy Johnson.

Johnson, of course, is in the Hall of Fame but not the team’s Ring of Honor. This is no longer the case. The curse is broken. It is happening. Jimmy Johnson is, at long last, taking his rightful place in the Dallas Cowboys Ring of Honor!

Jerry made the announcement live on FOX and noted that the enshrinement will happen on December 30th. That is a Saturday night game for the Cowboys where they will be hosting the Detroit Lions.
