Confidence in the Cowboys plateaus, and it’s wild card or bust according to fans

Cowboys fans are pretty confident these days.

NFL: Dallas Cowboys at Carolina Panthers Bob Donnan-USA TODAY Sports

The Dallas Cowboys went on the road in Week 11 and got a solid win over the Carolina Panthers. Nobody should ever scoff at a 23-point win on the road, even if it came against the team with the worst record in the NFL. But did the win mean anything to the fanbase besides just another win? Well, according to our survey, fans feel the same after the win as they did going in. Confidence in the direction of the franchise before the game was 73%. And after? 72%.

So it feels as if the confidence meter has plateaued for the moment.

We asked another important question about the Cowboys catching the Philadelphia Eagles for the NFC East crown. After the Eagles won over the Chiefs, the odds dropped. Only 19 % of Cowboys fans believe it will still happen.

Philly still has some tough games to go, wo we’ll see what happens.
