The Cowboys are getting closer and closer to kickoff for their annual Thanksgiving game, set to host the division rival Commanders. And now we know who will and won’t be suiting up for the game too, as the inactives list has been released.
Jayron Kearse is the biggest name on the inactive list, as he missed practice every day of the Cowboys’ very short week leading up to this one. After injuring his back in Sunday’s win over the Panthers, Kearse was listed as doubtful and will now miss the game. Juanyeh Thomas is expected to fill in for him.
Rico Dowdle was the only other Cowboys player to carry a game designation into this game, once again being listed as questionable with an ankle injury. However, just like last week, Dowdle is active and good to go. That leaves an inactives list full of healthy scratches, aside from Kearse: Eric Scott Jr., Deuce Vaughn, Noah Igbinoghene, Asim Richards, and Trey Lance.
As for the Commanders, they had already ruled out three players for this game, including rookie cornerback and starter Emmanuel Forbes. Running back Antonio Gibson, who missed the game on Sunday, is active and ready to go.
