The Dallas Cowboys are coming off back-to-back weeks where they dominated lesser competition. First, they dismantled the Carolina Panthers. Then, they embarrassed the Washington Commanders, making history as DaRon Bland returned his fifth interception for a touchdown, setting a new NFL record. Plus, Dak Prescott and the offense have been superb since the Cowboys’ bye week. Dallas is showing consistency at the best time of the year. Meanwhile, their opponent this week has been less fortunate.
The Seattle Seahawks approach Thursday’s game having lost three of their last four games. Most recently, Seattle lost to the San Francisco 49ers on Thanksgiving by a score of 31-13, where Seattle allowed six sacks and only mustered 220 yards of total offense. The Cowboys and Seahawks are two teams heading in opposite directions.

The Cowboys gave their veteran offensive linemen, Zack Martin and Tyron Smith, the day off as both were cited as DNP. Safety Jayron Kearse returned to practice Monday and was listed as limited along with running back Rico Dowdle who was also a limited participant. Kearse missed all of practice last week before he was ultimately ruled out against the Commanders. Finally, Mazi Smith and Peyton Hendershot were a full-go at practice listed with ankle and shoulder injuries respectively. Dante Fowler missed practice with an illness.
