A Christmas game for Week 16 in the NFL features the Las Vegas Raiders visiting the Kansas City Chiefs.

According to DraftKings Sportsbook the Chiefs are 11-point favorites.

This is an open thread for game chat.

Let’s see how the BTB staff picked the game.

Here are their thoughts on why they made their pick.

Dave Halprin: You would think this would just be an easy blowout for the Chiefs, but they have not looked like the Chiefs we’ve known for the last few years. The Raiders have been one of the wildly up and down teams of the season. Take the Chiefs to win, but not cover the huge spread.

RJ Ochoa: While Kansas City has not looked like their normal selves this season it is still difficult to bet against them as the playoffs loom. I do think this is the day that Antonio Pierce solidifies his spot as the Raiders head coach for next season, but give me the Chiefs.

Tom Ryle: The Raiders might be getting frisky, but I think the Chiefs will still beat them today, although it is likely to be a close one.

David Howman: The Chiefs haven’t looked like themselves all year but they’re still plenty good enough to beat bad teams. And despite some recent wins, the Raiders are still a bad team. I’ll take the Chiefs 24-10.

Brian Martin: Antonio Pierce has the Raiders playing better football since he’s taken over as the HC, but they are still not playing up to the Chiefs level. It may be closer than a lot of people are predicting, but I’ll take Kansas City in this matchup
