NFL: San Francisco 49ers at Baltimore Ravens Evan Habeeb-USA TODAY Sports

The final Christmas game for Week 16 in the NFL features the Baltimore Ravens visiting the San Francisco 49ers.

According to DraftKings Sportsbook the 49ers are 6-point favorites.

This is an open thread for game chat.

Let’s see how the BTB staff picked the game.

Here are their thoughts on why they made their pick.

Dave Halprin: The 49ers seem like the best team in football. This is a good way to prove it. They beat the Ravens and cover the spread.

RJ Ochoa: Obviously football fans everywhere are over the moon excited to see this game. I think very highly of Baltimore but also believe that the 49ers are simply on a different level. I’ll take San Francisco in a game that feels closer than the score ultimately indicates.

Tom Ryle: Super Bowl preview? We are going to hear that a lot about this one, and I’m sure the teams are well aware. I think this is a close one, and lower scoring than expected, with the 49ers edging the Ravens at home.

David Howman: This is an early Super Bowl matchup, as the two best teams in their respective conferences face off. Baltimore’s defense is unreal, and I think that gives Brock Purdy problems, while Lamar Jackson is unguardable when he’s at his best. I could easily be very wrong on this, but I’m taking the Ravens 28-24.

Brian Martin: Lamar Jackson against San Francisco 49ers should be an interesting matchup to watch. If the Ravens QB is able to find success on the ground and through the air Baltimore could walk away with the “W”. I however think the 49ers end up winning in a close one.
