The Dallas Cowboys are playing great football at the perfect time of the season. This is nothing new for Dak Prescott who is 19-6 in December over the span of his career. With a difficult upcoming slate on the horizon, Prescott and the Cowboys will need to keep up their winning ways if they hope to unseat the Eagles as NFC East division champions. The Cowboys had their second practice of the week and here’s where the team is regarding their injury status.

The Cowboys decided to give Zack Martin another day off as he sat out practice resting, joining Tyron Smith. Rico Dowdle has been hampered by an ankle injury the last few weeks and was a limited participant in practice. Meanwhile, Peyton Hendershot and Matt Waletzko were fully involved at Thursday’s practice.
Regarding the Eagles’ injury status, Zach Cunningham was limited at practice Thursday. Cunningham was held out from the Eagles’ loss to the San Francisco 49ers with a hamstring injury, but has said he’s playing this week. It’s unknown if Cunningham’s return will impact Shaquille Leonard’s debut with Philadelphia. Leonard signed with the Eagles after meeting with the Cowboys last week. Fletcher Cox was a full participant at today’s practice. Also, tight end Dallas Goedert was a full participant and is set to return to action after fracturing his forearm against the Cowboys in Week 9.
