Confidence in the Cowboys remains level, huge belief they will beat the Eagles

Cowboys fans are pretty confident these days.

The Dallas Cowboys and the Philadelphia Eagles are set for a titanic re-match on Sunday Night Football in Week 14 of the 2023 NFL season. The 9-3 Cowboys are trying to grab the lead of the NFC East from the 10-2 Eagles. As we know, even if they grab the lead, the Eagles still control their own destiny in terms of winning the division crown. Still, beating up on the Eagles would be a nice physiological boost for the Cowboys and keep their win-streak alive.

That win streak has been built since the last time the Cowboys played the Eagles. They have reeled off victories over the Giants, Panthers, Commanders, and Seahawks that have helped build a large lead in the wild card race.

Last week’s victory didn’t move the needle much in terms of confidence in the team’s direction. Going into the game confidence that the team was headed in the right direction was at 84%. Post-game, that confidence has only ticked up to 85%.

We also asked Cowboys fans whether the team would win on Sunday night over the Eagles. Coincidentally, that number also turned out to be 85%. As in 85% of Cowboys fans think the team will beat Philly and temporarily take over first place in the NFC East.

That’s a huge number for a game between two heavyweights of the NFC. Much of that is probably driven by the Cowboys unbelievable prowess at home where they are setting all kinds of records. Plus, the Eagles have looked vulnerable recently, and the 49ers just cleaned their collective clocks.
