Cowboys vs Eagles prop bets: Believing in Dak Prescott and his recent TD spree

What prop bets are you willing to take for this week’s Cowboys game?

When the Dallas Cowboys play the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, we’ll all be rooting for a Cowboys victory, but there is a way to add a little more spice to the game. Prop bets!

DraftKing Sportsbook has a dizzying array of interesting prop bets for the game, so we’ll take a look at a few to try and get an idea of how the game may go.

First, a brief primer on the odds:

All the betting odds at North American sportsbooks are based around a bet of $100. A plus sign (positive odds) indicates your profit on a bet of $100, while a minus sign (negative odds) indicates the amount you would have to bet for a $100 profit.

So, a +200 line means that, should the sports bettor win, they receive $200 profit for every $100 they wager (plus their original $100 back). If the wager had a minus sign (i.e. -200), it would mean that the sports bettors will earn $100 profit for every $200 they wager.

Here are the bets to take.

Dak Prescott over 2.5 passing TDs (+130)

We’re going for it this week. Dak Prescott has been on a tear lately with his passing touchdowns, and the Eagles have a poor secondary. The Cowboys are at home where the offense explodes for 30+ or even 40+ points on a regular basis. Asking for three touchdown passes in a game is tough, but the payoff is big at +130. Go Dak.

A.J. Brown over 77.5 receiving yards (-115)

The Cowboys are a good passing defense, but A.J. Brown is a beast and Jalen Hurts is probably going to target him early and often. The Cowboys secondary has been a little leaky recently, so take Brown and the over.

Michael Gallup under 16.5 receiving yards (-115)

This is how far Michael Gallup has fallen. 16.5 measly receiving yards, and were are going to take the under. Prescott isn’t targeting Gallup much anymore, and it seems like Jalen Tolbert is getting more targets as WR3. Gallup has two targets and 13 yards in his past two games.

Tony Pollard over 58.5 rushing yards (-120)

The hallmark of the Eagles defense has been stopping the run this year. So why take the over for Pollard? Because over the past three weeks the Eagles defense has been porous against the run. They are getting reinforcements back at linebacker, but we’re still betting on Pollard and the Cowboys improving run game.

Where do you stand on these prop bets? Which would you take? Hit the comments.

Those are only a small fraction of the prop bets available for the game. Check out DraftKings for more.
