The Dallas Cowboys have been one of the better offenses in the NFL for several seasons. Of course, it starts and ends with quarterback Dak Prescott, who is coming off of the best statistical season of his career in 2023. A big part in his elevation can be attributed to the continual rise of another star in Dallas, All-Pro wide receiver CeeDee Lamb.

Pro Football Focus put together a list of the top 32 wide receivers in the NFL going into the 2024 season. Lamb ranked as the fourth-best receiver, behind Justin Jefferson, Tyreek Hill and Ja’Marr Chase.

4. CeeDee Lamb, Dallas Cowboys

CeeDee Lamb stepped up to be the Dallas’ offensive focal point last season, becoming one of the game’s most effective receivers. He averaged 2.78 yards per route run and dropped only five of the 179 passes thrown his way.

Lamb went into another orbit in 2023. He led the NFL in receptions with 135 (career- high, Cowboys franchise record), giving him his second consecutive year of over 100 catches. He also had his best season in terms of receiving yards (1,749) and touchdowns (12).

The Cowboys have the luxury of being able to move him from the outside to the slot to maximize his ability on the field, which makes it more difficult for opposing defenses to defend him. Lamb is an exceptional route runner, and he can high point the football during contested-catch situations.

Lamb has gone from mostly a slot weapon as a rookie to one of the most dynamic receivers in the game, and he's due for a major payday soon.
