Recently ESPN interviewed quarterback guru George Whitfield about Johnny Manziel's training. They were watching videos of what Whitfield refers to as the "Jedi Drill" and played clips of Johnny throwing balls. Here is a picture of what appears to be him wearing a Dallas Cowboys shirt during the workout. This probably means nothing, but it's a bit intriguing.
According to our "friends" over at Bleeding Green Nation, draft prospect Bradley Roby has been arrested for an OVI. That is Ohio's version of a DUI. In any case, would you accept Roby as the team's 2nd round pick?

One of the most scrutinized first round picks of 2013, the Cowboys moved back from their original spot at No. 18 to take Frederick with the No. 31 overall pick in the draft. It was a mixed bag for Frederick who showed extremely well as a run blocker, but took his lumps in pass protection. For the most part, however, he silenced critics with a stellar overall season and continued improvement in the passing game should make the pick a worthwhile one for the Cowboys.
It happened in 1991 when Raghib "Rocket" Ismail signed a $26.2 million dollar deal with Toronto of the CFL. I believe we didn't have the salary cap at that time, but that is a large chunk of change. For the record, the Cowboys used the pick on Russell Maryland.
Colts placed C/G Phil Costa on the reserve/retired list. The Colts signed Costa to a two-year, $2.7 million contract in March, hoping that he would push Khaled Holmes to replace Samson Satele as Andrew Luck's starting center. Instead, Costa has opted to hang up the cleats for undisclosed reasons. Said GM Ryan Grigson in a statement, "Phil feels it’s in his best interest to retire from the game."
