And so you want to be a Hall of Fame voter … http://mmqb.si.com/2013/10/07/tony-romo-monday-morning-quarterback/6/ Well, you can’t. But I’ve got the next-best idea: Have some input into the system of electing Hall of Fame players. The 46 voters for the Hall have until Nov. 1 to cull the list of 126 modern-era candidates to 25. When the 126-person list is cut to 25, Hall voters will then submit their votes for the final 15, and those 15 finalists will be considered for election at the 2014 selection meeting in New York on Feb. 1. This week, The MMQB will give 10 of you a chance to make your best case for a player you believe belongs in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Nominate and support your favorite candidate in short, 250-word essays, and we’ll run the best ones Friday on The MMQB.

Sports Science looks at the physics of The Dastardly Interception. Too Painful, Didn't Watch? If Tyron doesn't step on Tony, it's business as usual. Here's hoping there's a sequel analyzing pursuit angles of the check down: Romo II: Murray's Revenge.

Fans confront Matt Schaub at his house

One fan went to Schaub's house and told him off, while another fan took photos of his family and put them on Facebook. I hope our fans have more class and respect towards our players than this. At the end of the day it's just a game and he shouldn't be harassed at his home.

Williamson: How far can the Dallas Cowboys go? (ESPN Insider)

2

This is an "Insider" article at ESPN, but for those with access, Matt Williamson provides a good and optimistic overall assessment of the team, with positive reviews for Romo, his weapons and the offensive line. He notes that Kiffin is doing far more than just basic cover-2/Tampa-2 and working to vary the scheme to fit the players, and warns about taking too much negative from what the Broncos did to them, and says, "this is a pretty solid defense overall on each level." He concludes in part with this: "In standing toe-to-toe with the Broncos, the Cowboys proved they have far fewer flaws than any other team in the NFC East, and I fully expect them to win this division."
