Larry Allen runs down Saints LB to prevent TD. Y'all have to see this link I found on the Mothership,. It's his rookie year.
Pretty interesting grid. If this is accurate, it looks like the Cowboys are in pretty decent shape--even with the illegal cap penalty being imposed on us.
More evidence that America's team is the most loved team in America
For that discussion of Jason Garrett vs. Jim Harbaugh. I have been saying this forever, that the 49ers had a much more solid foundation of players and culture than what Jason Garrett inherited. Garrett has to build a solid roster and change a culture. Mike Nolan and Mike Singletary had already done that for Jim Harbaugh more than 5 years before he got there.
5 minutes are up and only the Eagles and the Saints are still looking for defensive coordinators. Rob runs a 3-4 so either team would have to switch to a 3-4 to accommodate him most likely. The saints were recently a 3-4 team under Williams, but something tells me Sean Payton won't want a guy like Rob on his staff. Eagles will probably be unimpressed with Rob's body of work as well being that they had a pretty easy go at Rob's defense while with the Cowboys all four times.
"I saw Larry Allen and I was like, ‘I’m going to put a move on him and go get the ballcarrier. That’s what I did in college,’" Willis said. "I’ll never forget: He pushed me and I swear, I was like I started on one side of the field and ended up on the other side of the field."
"After extensive conversations regarding defensive philosophy, the Rams and Rob Ryan agreed he was not the right fit for the club's defensive coordinator position," COO/Executive VP of Football Operations Kevin Demoff told the team website. "The Rams will continue the interview process with the clubâs other candidates." "No details were given, but Ryan does prefer a 3-4 scheme to the Rams' 4-3. That could have been the difference in philosophy, but it's odd the team didn't deny reports last week that Ryan had been hired, now calling them premature. It appears something changed in the last five days."
