Transcending the line between football and community

5

Rick Wallace arrived at my alma mater, Shamrock High, in the 1980's. He brought with him a knowledge of football, a passion for life and a self discipline that was shared with staff and students alike. He was my favorite coach and was missed by all when he took a position at another school 'down south'. Little did I know, all these years later, he would no longer be my favorite coach... These days, Rick Wallace is my favorite hero. "Copyright 2012 The Galvestion Daily News. Republished with the permission of the Galvestion County Daily News. Stephen Jones hinting a pressure player to counter RG3 at 14?

"We obviously have one of the elite pressure players in the league in DeMarcus Ware," Jones said. "I think we have to get Spencer more involved in terms of productivity. Then you look at our defensive linemen -- Ratliff and Hatcher and those guys, I think we have to get better there but I think we can do that." "I think the Giants showed, with their late-season surge, when they got healthy in the defensive line, they were able to get that pressure on good quarterbacks," Jones said. "It certainly disrupts." Jones reiterated that it all comes back to pressure. "A young player like RG3, if we can get pressure on guys like that, I think it affects their accuracy, I think it affects their productivity and I think it will allow us to have success against them," Jones said.
